How about “Be Your Own Tour Guide Day?”

Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

Wish that falls on some day in the month of September or in October in a calendar year. So that people round the world appear across social media on the said day and share their experience as to how they help random tourists in the exploration of exotic places in their local town. Helps pretty much the audience and revellers to plan the following New Year celebration by visiting the favorite places.

Do rainy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Do permit me to rephrase the question as said above. Yes, it’s raining “cats and dogs” in the city I live in. One can’t rest his/her feet when it’s training here as our city Chennai is prone to flooding. Even a small rain keeps us on our toes. We keep dialing the authorities, speak to them, provide about flood updates and ask for machinery that pumps water out where there’s inundation. Watch news and set out to volunteer for the people who are marooned. So a rainy day for many school children may be a lazy day as most of the schools declare holidays during mansoon but for adults like us is “one of the most productive days” in our life.

A Walk in the Clouds.

How do you celebrate holidays?

I live in a city which is urban and people mostly come here to work and build a career.

On holidays, they all go back to their native places. The city will look completely deserted during the break.

I cherish the look of the empty city and relish a walk in the middle of road. I call it ‘a walk in the clouds’.
